This is so wonderful—I love this description so much! “ Maybe for Easter you decide on the pink leggings— strap your black wallet onto your right upper leg for convenience (and reasons of creativity) “ (that parenthetical is the best!)
Thanks Sara! you noticed! of course you did. The driver was looking right and left quickly at the stop light so I asked can I take your photo and she waved OK, and was off!
Beautiful. What fun. I loved the anime costume. I'm in love with Penny Irish. And yes, it's all so holy. Even the thought, which I so often have: "When I'm dead, I won't have to do this anymore." And "artinheavenartinheavenartinheaven." Perfect. But best of all, I love the reasoning behind your being so obviously Catholic. Delightful. Thank you for this.
Art in heaven artinheaven. So many wonderful realizations in this piece. kathy is obviously Catholic. The mutterings of greetings in church evoking sleepiness. Pastels aren’t sturdy enough for the weather. And absolutely yes to thinking, I wonder if I’ll have to do this again…if I will still be alive. Maybe this is my last dental appointment, knee replacement, heartbreak…
(I thought I replied!)...I like how you say it, "I wonder if I'll have to do this again...if I will still be alive....and the bit after about the last....ending with heart break!
Thanks Rog! Oh yes, I didn’t even mention the plastic blow up bunny we won from the dry cleaner contest (what a strange “prize”)which probably also was pink!

As an old Catholic raised girl this made me smile
Lovely
Do
Thanks Prajna! I think I wanted to be among them! The boundaries of their religion and the rituals were known and tight.

Thanks Susan! I'm trying bold print for the first time. But not sure I will like it. I think of you whenever I write about our family!
I’m always so glad when you do. I love it honestly.

From a Mary to a Kathy, bless you & your family reminds me of mine in a maybe kind of way. Here’s to pink pants!
Thanks Mary! Well I boosted them (family) up for this essay as well!
A whole new perspective on Easter, and human beings, and heaven, and cosplay, and pink!

Oh I remember the blow up bunny! I think I loved that thing! :-)
I think you loved it in a way I will never know...:-).
Aww, I loved it too! It was tremendously fun, happy and large! I think we talked about it recently...It's so funny we had it!
